Why Give?

Gifts to the band allow Wake Forest Athletics to invest in gear and travel for one of the nation’s hardest working spirit groups. As Wake Forest seeks to attract growing band numbers and provide the SOTOGAB with more opportunities to support our Athletics programs, enhancing the band’s budget will maximize the experience for not only band members, but for the entire gameday experience.

Why Now?

Deacs Day of Giving is the quintessential moment to show your Pro Humanitate spirit. On September 12th, you can make the most of your gift and show off your Deacon Pride during our annual 24-hour fundraising event in support of all things Wake Forest. This year, if we meet our goal of 3,500 donors on Deacs Day of Giving, the University will receive an additional $1,000,000 gift from an anonymous donor for Wake Foresters being All For Wake Forest!

50 DONORS = $10,000 Additional Gift!

Make a gift to the band on Deacs Day of Giving to multiply the impact of your contribution! Now that band has reached 50 gifts, an anonymous donor has offered a $10,000 incentive if 50 total individuals make a gift to the Band program today. Please join past and present student-athletes, parents, and fans in your support of the band program to help secure a $10,000 incentive to directly support the band program.

Additionally, by making your gift now you will help Wake Forest Athletics compete in a university wide competition to achieve the greatest participation rate of any unit within the University. Make your gift and spread the word to family, colleagues, and friends to help multiply the impact on the band budget, and aid Athletics in winning first place in the Unit Challenge.
