Why Give?
The documents and rare books housed in special collections are what makes ZSR Library distinctive from other academic libraries. They are unique resources for our students and faculty, supporting their teaching, learning, and research. Over 5,000 students will take a class in special collections during their four years at Wake Forest, and every student has the opportunity to explore the collection here in ZSR. Your gift helps ensure that these materials will continue to be available for your fellow Deacs for years to come.
Why Now?
Deacs Day of Giving is the quintessential moment to show your Pro Humanitate spirit. On September 12th, you can make the most of your gift and show off your Deacon Pride during our annual 24-hour fundraising event in support of all things Wake Forest. This year, if we meet our goal of 3,500 donors on Deacs Day of Giving, the University will receive an additional $1,000,000 gift from an anonymous donor for Wake Foresters being All In!
SUPPORT SPECIAL COLLECTIONS AND ARCHIVES!
Show your pride in the Library and the programs it provides to the Wake Forest community! By making your gift now, you will help the Z. Smith Reynolds Library win the unit challenge by having the greatest participation rate at the end of Deacs Day of Giving. Spread the word and donate now to participate in various Deacs Day of Giving challenges occurring throughout the day to increase the impact of your gift and help the Library provide unique resources for students and faculty. Give now to make a significant difference in the lives of Wake Forest University students, faculty, staff, and community members. Thank you!
